Program: Summers Past Farm near Alpine, CA
Our usual meeting room at the Kensington Community Church is not available on the first Wednesday in March so we moved the date to Saturday, March 10 and the location to Summers Past Farm near Alpine, CA. In addition to a plant nursery they have lovely gardens to visit. The wisteria should be blooming in March. They also have gift shops and a coffee bar. Pack a lunch and meet at the Kensington Church (corner of Marlborough and Alder) to form car pools at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 10. We will return the church at about 1:30 p.m.
Driving instructions: Take I-8 east to Harbison Canyon / Dunbar Lane exit, turn left at stop, go under freeway to Olde Hwy. 80 and make a left. The barn is 1 mile on right. 15602 Olde Highway 80 Flinn Springs, CA 92021.
There will be no plant exchange or opportunity table at the March meeting.
